School Meals
Good health is important for everyone. The Government is committed to securing, maintaining and improving the health of children and young people. One way it is doing this is by setting minimum national nutritional standards for school lunches.
A varied and balanced diet plays a key role in protecting health and promoting proper growth and development. In the short term, it can help children and young people concentrate better and reach their full potential both in and out of school.
At Olive Hill, we provide a variety of excellent healthy options through our catering partner, Alliance in Partnership (AiP). School dinners cost £2.40 and includes a drink of water during the lunch hour.
From Monday 2nd June, we will be introducing an online ordering platform for school meals. The platform is designed to offer a simpler and convenient service to families and will be accessed through your SchoolMoney account. All meals, including those children in receipt of free school meals or universal free school meals for children in Reception to Year 2, must be pre-ordered through the SchoolMoney system.
Menus will operate on a three week rotation. All meal choices must be made one week in advance, by 9am each Monday, for the following week’s meals. If no meal choices are selected for that week by the deadline, you will need to provide your child with a packed lunch for that week.
